Class description:
Compassion Without Self Abandonment is a full day immersion designed to help you care deeply for others without disappearing in the process, reconnect with the part of yourself that deserves the same tenderness you give so freely, and practice what it looks like to be both generous and whole.
You’re good at caring for people. That is not the problem. The problem is what it costs you when care becomes a reflex rather than a choice, when compassion quietly becomes self erasure, when you give so much that you stop noticing what you need. This retreat is an invitation to explore what it looks like to love well without losing yourself in the process.
Through embodied practices, creative reflection, and intentional community, we create space to examine the difference between genuine care and over giving, to develop the emotional maturity to hold others without carrying them, and to practice compassion that begins, rather than ends, with yourself.
At the heart of this retreat is belonging. This is a space for women to gather in shared presence, to be witnessed, supported, and held within a community that values authenticity and care.
Through practicing together, we support one another's growth and deepen our connection to ourselves and each other.
We are intentionally keeping this retreat small, with a maximum of 20 participants. This allows for a more intimate, grounded experience where each person feels seen, supported, and able to fully drop in.
The size of the group is a key part of how we create depth, safety, and meaningful connection throughout the day.
Throughout the day, you will be guided through a thoughtfully curated flow of experiences, including yoga, breathwork, sound healing, a cacao ceremony, reflective workshop practices, and a closing movement and dance integration.
Each element is designed to support nervous system balance, self-awareness, and the clarity needed to plant seeds with intention.
This retreat is about remembering that you cannot pour from a place you have never allowed yourself to fill.
Pneuma women's retreats are inclusive experiences. All who identify with or feel drawn to feminine-centered spaces, practices, and themes are welcome.
You will leave feeling clear, grounded, and more attuned to your inner compass, with a beautifully designed retreat workbook to support continued reflection and integration in the days that follow.
No prior experience with yoga, breathwork, or meditation is required. Come exactly as you are.
We can’t wait to hold this space and build this community with you.
