Class description:
The SOMA Breath Energized Meditation Routine is a 1-hour long workshop combining movement, chanting and breathwork all guided with uplifting, music. It is designed to help participants become very efficient at using oxygen, and to build a tolerance to carbon dioxide.
Energized Meditation helps people to slow down their breathing to less than 10 breaths per minute, and encourages people to breathe through their nose more. The Energized Meditation Routine is designed to release tension from the body, boost your mood, and be a super-effective breathwork meditation.
Benefits of Energized Meditation include:
- Improvement in CO2 tolerance and nitric oxide production.
- Improved oxygenation of tissue cells.
- Reduced tension.
- Oxygen efficiency.
- Improved cardiovascular health.
- Better concentration and meditation.
- Stimulates both hemispheres of the brain.
- Stimulates neurogenesis and ‘brain change’.

AEGEAN SEA — ENERGISE
Monday 12 October 2026 | 7:30pm–9:00pm
Aegean Sea: High-Energy SOMA Breath® Journey | London
Feel the rhythm. Build the energy. Ride the waves.
Description
Now the journey changes.
After six experiences exploring relaxation, extended exhalation, balanced breathing, music and meditation, Aegean Sea introduces a new challenge.
Speed.
This intermediate four-round SOMA Breath® journey begins with the familiar balanced 4:4 rhythm.
Then we accelerate.
Rounds two, three and four move into faster 2:2 rhythmic breathing, progressively building energy and intensity.
Imagine your breath moving like the ocean.
Beginning steadily.
Building momentum.
Wave after wave becoming stronger.
Part 7 of the Autumn Journey — ENERGISE
This is where the progression we've been building towards becomes physical.
The balanced breathing developed through earlier journeys becomes our starting point rather than our destination.
From there, we introduce faster rhythmic breathing across three successive rounds.
If you've travelled through the series, your familiarity with the techniques allows you to approach this next stage with greater confidence.
Aegean Sea can also be booked individually, but some previous breathwork experience is recommended.
What to Expect
🌊 Four progressive rounds
🌬️ Balanced breathing progressing into faster 2:2 breathing
🎵 Melodic and mystical soundscapes
✨ Breath-retention phases between rounds
🔥 Progressively increasing intensity
🧘 Final meditation and integration
Your 90-Minute Experience
We'll carefully demonstrate both breathing patterns before beginning.
Round one establishes the journey through balanced breathing.
Rounds two, three and four introduce the faster 2:2 rhythm and progressively build the experience.
Breath retention follows each round before we eventually slow everything back down for meditation and integration.
